Jason Holliday

Birthday: November 30th, 1973

Jason grew up in Toledo, Ohio. His wife, Christy, grew up just 20 miles away although they didn’t meet until their days at Huntington College where Jason graduated with a degree in Educational Ministries and a minor in Vocal Performance. Jason is a self-proclaimed "quiet guy". Crowds have been stunned, however, to watch him obliterate couches, crates, teddy bears and walls with a little help from the Mortal Kombat soundtrack and his over-active supply of adrenaline.

Influences:
I am grateful to have had many good influences in my life as I was growing up. The school that I attended, Emmanuel Baptist in Toledo, Ohio helped to instill Biblical values and principles. Huntington College was also a tremendous help in my spiritual development. My mom and dad’s sacrifice financially to send me to these Christian schools is greatly appreciated. My father’s continuing example of sharing his faith with others has influenced me greatly. Also, Bishop Selhammer of the United Brethren Church has made an impact on us as a group. We were able to get to know him during our summer tours. His godly example and encouragement made a big difference for us.

Testimony of Salvation:
I was a young child when I accepted Christ into my life. I can specifically remember coming home from church on a Sunday evening and asking my dad to pray with me. We both knelt and he led me in a prayer of salvation. I was too young to fully understand the significance of accepting Christ as my Savior, but God instilled within me the desire to know Him. Through the years He has continued to put a desire within me to know Him more and to serve Him on a daily basis. It's exciting to know that Christ has a plan for my life, and that His plan unfolds each and every day when I surrender to Him.
